Lynton Parmar-Hemsley

Lynton Parmar-Hemsley’s work transcends photorealism, capturing a distinct energy that eludes the camera lens. A full-time artist for over 30 years, Lynton began his career as a commercial illustrator before shifting his focus to figure and landscape painting. He has achieved significant acclaim as a portrait artist, securing high-profile commissions – most notably a portrait of Barbara Bush for the Bush family in the U.S. His talent has also been showcased on a national stage, appearing on Sky Arts’ Portrait Artist of the Year.

Lynton quickly realised that absolute realism can sometimes be a barrier to truth. Moving beyond the “perfect” image, he discovered he could paint the atmosphere of a room or the weight of a person’s thoughts. This gives his work it’s signature vibration; the brushstrokes are visible, the energy is palpable and the soul of the subject remains the focus.

Commissioning Artwork

If you like the style and have a particular subject in mind then it may be possible to commission a piece from the particular artist.

The Atelier Gallery has managed many commissions for our clients and believe it is a unique and fun way of purchasing art. We are here to simplify a process that allows you to become fully engaged, as appropriate, with the design and development of a bespoke piece of artwork.

To discuss how to process then please contact us at info@theateliergallery.co.uk
