DANIEL ROY SHARPLES
Daniel Roy Sharples is a contemporary landscape painter dedicated to capturing the rhythmic pulse of urban life. Working primarily en plein air in oils, Daniel thrives focusing on scenes defined by the constant flux of traffic and pedestrians.
Trained in Illustration at UCLAN and Applied Art & Design at Edge Hill University. Following four years of teaching in Hong Kong, he is currently the Head of Art & Design at a Lancashire secondary school.
Daniel’s emerging practice has earned significant national recognition, including the Dry Red Press Award at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and exhibitions with the Royal Society of British Artists. He has also been featured as a pod artist on Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year. His work continues to explore the intersection of traditional technique and the beautiful chaos of modern life.
Commissioning Artwork
If you like the style and have a particular subject in mind then it may be possible to commission a piece from the particular artist.
The Atelier Gallery has managed many commissions for our clients and believes it is a unique and personal way of purchasing art. We are here to simplify a process that allows you to become fully engaged, as appropriate, with the design and development of a bespoke piece of artwork.
