Originally from Paris and based in Marseille since 1998, Corine Ko currently exhibits with great success in Europe,  exploring the feminine figure as a vessel for the inner journey. Her work serves as a silent meditation on the fragility of the moment and the fleeting nature of beauty, for Corine, painting is a visual poem.

Drawing inspiration from the golden sensuality of Gustave Klimt and the diaphanous grace of Marie Laurencin, Ko employs a delicate balance of diluted acrylics and mixed media with a subtle element of refined Japanese aesthetics. Integrating her own photography with layers of Japanese paper and collage, she enriches the texture and poetic resonance of each piece. These compositions exist in the space between matter and transparency, inviting the viewer into a state of intimate contemplation where strength and softness intertwine.
